Like I’ve said before, I’m not the nursing kind. However, I have never been more thankful for healthcare professionals than during my recent hospital stay and time of physical therapy.

When I was in the hospital, I was impressed by a print that was going around the internet. Nathan Greene has a whole set of prints in his Healing Hands collection. In each picture, the scene has a health care professional, a patient, and Jesus. I was greatly moved by the prints. I ordered a number of the prints I intend to give as thank you cards to my patient staff. I tried to get permission to show a picture of his on this site, but the company never sent a response.

But it doesn’t really matter. The picture above shows the truth of it. Behind every healing touch is a real person who puts aside her own worries and aches to minister to her patient. Every time a person is touched, the blessings from the Father is sent through a special ‘healer’ to the one in need.

Have you ever heard the modern phrase, “Back at ya?”

That’s what I want to do today. Though most of my ‘healers’ don’t follow my blog, I want to say a special thank you to them all. Just as every nurse, doctor, tech, and therapist have been a part of my healing process, I want to be maybe a little like the one leper who returned to thank Jesus for his healing.

Here’s a big THANK YOU and a GREAT BIG BLESSING to YOU ALL!

Blessings
