Quitter
Bless my heart!
I QUIT!!!
NO MORE TAX PREP for this year!!!
So the score is IRS a bajillion and me negative thousands. I’m not going to go on a rant. Well maybe a small one.
Except I don’t have that much energy. After working for a month hours at a time, we still got screwed by Uncle Sam. I pray all those who defraud the government get leprosy or something!
Bless my heart!!!! My math skills and the lack of the same have been frequent subjects of my blogs through the years. Nothing has changed. You’d think as old as I am, I’d get at least a little better at juggling the numbers, or at least keep them in the right order.
Not!
Enough!
Being an old lady who sometimes forgets things, maybe I’ll put this year’s tax fiasco in my ‘that’s garbage’ pile and not let it bother me anymore.
Getting taxes done, no matter how poorly, means I get to go on to more fun projects. Sewing a few things in the next two weeks is on the top of my to-do list. Yahoo!
Now that the weather is lovely, I need to haul my multitude of plants outside and thin them. They are like a jungle in the living room – and I love it!
As always, I am misconstruing the Scripture a wee bit, but this verse does give a little license to put this year’s tax stuff in my mental shredder.
Philippians 3:13 ‘But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead.’
Ephesians 4:31 I’ll take to mean I have no freedom to go on another tax rant. ‘Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with malice.’
There are plenty of things to think about that make me smile. On to happier thoughts!
All in all, God blesses me. And that is enough.
Blessings to all.
Kara Beth
