Happy Face
It’s been a minute since I wrote a blog … sixteen days to be exact. Ronald and I have been working our tails off all this time. Too bad my backside isn’t getting the memo that hard work should equal firm muscles instead of aching ones.
We had two angels step up to help us today. Angel #1 Joey helped pack a truck with heavy chairs and other items. Angel #2, also named Joe, helped unpack the truck in no time flat. You can say they were mere humans, but to us they were super heroes and sent as special messengers of God’s love and care for us old rascals. Angels for sure!
I have now driven three times through Atlanta traffic as I followed Ronald’s rental truck. Every time I got a wee bit nervous, I would remind myself God was really the One in control. I have always envisioned a whole squadron of angels around me as I drive. Believe me. My driving is almost as bad as my cooking! SO – Yay, God!
I’ve had a tendency to be a grump lately. I had to smile as I saw the happy face atop some unsorted miscellaneous junk. If the cooler bag can make a silly smile after being stuffed, dragged around, and thrown to the side, so can I.
You think I’m being silly about the angel thing? Maybe so, but Psalm 91:11 says, ‘For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.’
Psalm 34:7 says, ‘ The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.’
I hope you smile when you see the picture I posted.
Blessings to all
Kara Beth
