Sunset Praise

The featured image was the delightful ending to my day yesterday.

I was closing the curtains for the night and happened to look on that side of the house. Though I could only see a portion of the sky, what I could see was magnificent. I was tempted to jump in the car and drive to a better vantage spot but I knew by the time I did that, the sun would have set. Taking a picture was the best option. The experience gave me great joy.

Jeremiah 32:17 TLB ‘O Lord GOD! You have made the heavens and earth by Your great power; nothing is too hard for You!’

Psalm 124:8 TLB ‘Our help is from the Lord who made heaven and earth.’

Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us there is a right time to do things.

I think this picture reminds me it is always the right time to praise God.

Since He has made something so wonderful as a sunset for me to enjoy for so brief a time, surely He will give me the strength I need to do His will. I am spending a day or two thinking on that.
