BAA!!!

I will say beforehand that I know the biological warfare that has been perpetrated on our world is real and for some, deadly. It has caused destruction in so many ways – physically, economically, and socially. The terror some people have experienced is truly beyond comprehension. For those who have suffered and continue to do so, I extend my prayers and condolences.

But I’m still going to rant and hopefully provide some food for thought and Truth for the day.

If you don’t agree with me, that’s fine. You probably care as much about my political opinion as I do yours. I still value the right to have my own beliefs and let you have yours even if I don’t care what you think.

So I got up at the crack of the crack to get a covid test. (I give it a small ‘c’ like I do the ‘s’ in satan.)

I am excited to go to DragonCon but sad I have to have ‘proper’ paperwork to get in.

The only symptoms I am displaying is a terminal case of old age in all its various forms, aches, and pains. Definitely not showing signs of covid.

But like those of old who were made to show papers to prove their status, I too must comply or not get to go.

BAA!!!

Hmmm. What happened to my body, my choice?

Hmmm. Masks, booster shots until eternity, paperwork up the wazoo. And some people don’t want Voter ID? Give me a break!

Is discrimination still a thing? Oh, I see. Only if you – never mind. I’m offending enough people already.

And that doesn’t even take in the blinking’ muppet masks! I’m thinking of wearing a burka for the whole convention. Huh! Then at least I could let the ‘sisters’ free and no one would know!

Libs would probably approve of that more than they will the Star of David my regular masks now sport.

If anyone dares challenge me on my mask, I will use the symbol to educate the masses (without the ‘m’).

The Bible says we are to learn from history. Here’s a truth from the past. Imposed tyranny is often a step by step process.

For Jews in the last century, it started with religious intolerance. Necessary identification papers were followed by restricted movement through society, then no travel,  and then confiscation and destruction of businesses. Next were interment camps and ghettos. Then box cars. Then gas chambers.

Evil unchallenged runs rampant and ramps up by the second.

Evil always backs tyranny,

I figure friends and relatives alike will ‘unfriend’ me over this. But are personal opinions and beliefs not acceptable anymore?

Oh yeah. This is America. I guess they aren’t. Sigh.

Here’s some real Truth. Though it is speaking of spiritual freedom, it is still applicable in our lives.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.     Galatians 5:1 NIV. (I wonder if this is a verse the early leaders of the American Revolution would agree with.)

May Your unfailing love come to me, Lord, Your salvation, according to Your promise; then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in Your Word. Never take Your Word of Truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in Your laws. I will always obey Your law, for ever and ever. I, on the other hand, will walk about in a blinking’ muppet mask all weekend. Sigh. Or should I say BAA like a mindless sheep?!!!
