Primed and Cocked!

I don’t know what will happen the next few days, weeks, months, or years, but this blog is for all believers. I am giving you fair warning, I am fighting the battle no matter what!

How? Knowing I am just a crippled old lady doesn’t mean I am not strong where it counts! I am not only armed, I have enough ammo to keep the battle going until my time on earth is done and with plenty of ammo to spare! 2 Corinthians 6:7 tells of Paul’s mighty weapons .  We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense.

God isn’t surprised by what’s going on and is never unprepared – EVER! Psalm 93 assures us that God is on the throne. FOR ETERNITY!

Psalm 37 tells us to not fret because of evildoers; don’t be envious of wrongdoers. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. The verses go on to tell us to delight ourselves in the Lord, commit our ways to the Lord, and trust in Him alone!

Jesus warned over and over of the tribulations Christians will endure, but He promised peace because He has overcome the world. In John 14:27 Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled or be afraid.”

That my friends is some crazy good ammo!

In World War II, there was a song that showed a correct mindset – “Praise the Lord, and Pass the Ammunition”.  Take time to read all the lyrics. Unlike the song though, true freedom comes not by winning an earthly battle but by choosing Jesus Christ as Savior.

In the Old Testament, the brave musicians sometimes went ahead of the armed warriors. Praising God ahead of any battle is still as effective as it was in those days and ever since.

Here’s the final ammo sharing of the day: Psalm 100:1-5

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His: we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name! For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.

May I also suggest listening to “Still” and “Until the Time Comes to Leave” as sung by the Booth Brothers? Encourage your soul with God’s Word and music!

Blessings

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition xs 3
And we’ll all stay free
Praise the Lord and swing into position
Can’t afford to be a politician
Praise the Lord, we’re all between perdition
And the deep blue sea
Yes the sky pilot said it
Ya gotta give him credit
For a sonofagun of a gunner was he
Shouting Praise the Lord, we’re on a mighty mission
All aboard, we ain’t a-goin’ fishin’
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition
And we’ll all stay free
Praise the Lord (Praise the Lord) and pass the ammunition xs 3
And we’ll all stay free!
