Saints and Sinners

This post is not what you think. I, the sinner, have ’bout lost my religion five times or more this past week during Mom’s move from one facility to another.

I am so thankful for David and Shawn who have aided us with moves the last few years. I pray God’s blessings on them. I bless Norm at Speedi Lube for helping with the rental truck after I totally lost it with the guy from U-Haul. I am suggesting each of them for immediate sainthood. Myself, well, I am pretty sure I don’t qualify.  I was quite a sight, stomping my feet, yelling “No! No! No!” along with a few inappropriate words while jabbing my fingers in the air as I envisioned myself in the face at the agent from U-Haul who was not listening to me. Funny thing is, I am studying the book of James about taming the tongue. I guess I’ll be rereading that a time or two. Sure don’t have it nailed yet.

The next people I am suggesting be classified as saints are the wonderful people who work in nursing/assisted living facilities throughout the world. I think they are surely SAINTS! Ronald thinks they are crazy. Definitely not our gifting.

As we traded for the third TV to be placed in Mom’s room, I realized what wonderful people the customer service workers are at Walmart. They are to be greatly commended for their patience and understanding. As I left there today after returning the clicker of the recently returned TV, I was amazed at their patience dealing with crazy old people like me and the arrogant rednecks who followed me in line. May the Lord bless any worker who has to deal with the public.

Anyway. We may be okay for a day or so. I have some serious repentance to work on. No jewels in my crown this week for sure!

Blessings
