Firm Foundations
Well, mercy!
This week our pastor talked about firm foundations. My friend who is doing a show on you tube needed to listen to his sermon before she chose her wardrobe this week.
Bless her heart! You know how I don’t name names, so I am not going to. And I guess she is not alone in her wardrobe mishaps.
On Fox Five this week, they were talking about mistakes they had made with all these online meetings. One said he realized how tacky he looked after viewing himself in an old t-shirt in front of his messy bookshelf. Another said he had accidentally started a meeting with no shirt on.
At least my friend wasn’t that bad, but a substantial foundational garment would have certainly altered her looks for the segment. Maybe she thought she would only be filmed from the neck up. With everything from the neck down heading south, it wasn’t a good look.
Her next mistake was the sharp contrast between the colors of her blouse and the over-piece which further accentuated her less than ideal physique. I hope her producer takes her aside and helps her with her wardrobe before her next attempt at TV stardom.
I am certainly too good a friend to embarrass her by telling her. Blessed are the peace makers and all that you know.
Blessings
