LET the BLOGS BEGIN – – – AGAIN

Well, bless my heart. January 19 of this year, I posted a blog on Facebook as I tried to launch my own creative efforts. Here’s the blog.

At the beginning, I am supposed to decide what I want to blog about so I can attract an audience and ultimately a publisher. As I look over the future posts that I have diligently prepared ahead of time (because I can’t figure out how to get the blog up and running), I see that true to my subtitle – Somewhere Between Nonsense and Knowledge, I’m on the heavy end of nonsense. Is there a market for that? I sure hope so!

My rants and preachin’ are on the other end of the spectrum. The Bible does say for older women to mentor the younger ones. And I am older than most folks I know! And it does say don’t let the sun go down on my wrath. Writing my rants ratchets down my aggravation level a notch or two for sure! That sounds like a win/win to me.

I gave up quickly on producing my own blog. There was too much I didn’t know.

On January 30th I wrote in my journal:  I have decided I must go the professional route because I read instructions and poof! My brain explodes!

So here I am many months later and maybe a little more prepared to launch a professionally prepared website. The lovely young lady, Valerie from Compass Websites, is patiently guiding me through the process. It has been a lesson in self-examination. Learning to trust others with my ‘baby’ has not been easy. I have even heard it said that I am a bit of a control freak. Hmmm. I always considered the term to mean careful oversight of a project.

But here are the words of wisdom that were the first that came up in a search for advice:

Proverbs 26:16 – In his own opinion, a fool is smarter than seven wise men. OUCH!

Blessings
